Navigators take third NWJHL title in a row

For the third year in a row, the North Peace Navigators are NWJHL champions. The Peace River team shut out the Fairview Flyers 2-0 in game five of the final.

This is the sixth championship for the Navs, who beat the County of Grande Prairie JDA Kings and the Beaverlodge Blades to get to the finals. They’re off next to the Alberta Junior B provincials in Red Deer.

The Flyers were the top ranked team in the regular season.
