The Rotarian’s Highway to Mexico project is once again helping fire departments in Mexico in need of equipment. The County of Grande Prairie recently donated 12 sets of surplus turn-out gear, gloves, and boots to the program. There has also been ambulances and fire trucks added to the fleet that will help in fire fighting in Mexico.
A group of Rotarians will begin the 5 thousand kilometre trip to bring the donations to places like Mazatlan beginning on April 1st. The group will meet up with other Rotarians from Edson that have also been collecting donations.
