Grande Prairie Fire fighters responded to an apartment fire over the weekend at Ranchlands on 76 avenue. On Saturday, at around 12:20pm they arrived at a structure fire at the building which was on the fourth floor. All the residents of the building were evacuated. The fire was under control by 1:30pm with smoke and fire damage was contained to the original suite.
Everyone except the fire and smoke damaged suite were allowed back into the building at around 4am. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
