Neighbourhood information card available for safety

A card of information is being handed out in neighbourhoods to help with safety and encourages you to get out and meet one another. The city is partnering with the Crime Prevention Department to hand out “Know your Neighbour” cards out to homes in your community.

The cards would hold eight different contacts with information on the homes near yours. These would be used to report suspicious activity or in case of an emergency. They would also include non-emergency and enforcement services phone numbers.

Residents can get their cards from their Neighbourhood Association or be picked up at City on 99th.
