$2.3 million in sidewalk work set for Grande Prairie

Pending final approval by council, Raiders Site Services will be responsible for more than $2.3 millionĀ in sidewalk work in Grande Prairie this year.

The biggest chunk of that will go towards repairing sidewalks around the city that most need it, while up to $500,000 will go towards new sidewalks and trails.

Included is a new sidewalk rail crossing at 102nd Street, and new connection at the 105th Street entrance to Royal Oaks.

The City has been happy with Raiders’ work in the past, and it’s been recommended council award them the tender at its next meeting.
