Teachers learn at the Mighty Peace Teachers Convention
Educators in the Region took the role their students usually play by learning last week at the Mighty Peace Teachers Convention. Adminstrator for Bezanson school Barb Aren says it gave her the ability to network and connect with other administrators.
“It’s the opportunity to enhance our teaching craft and to learn new things… connect with others. It doesn’t take us out from in front of our classroom because it is planned for the year.”
She is also a grade 3 teacher and she had the opportunity to meet the author of a book she brings to the classroom called Pete the Cat by Eric Litwin.
The author presented a session and was part of the closing keynote presentation on Friday.
