Items from suspended pipeline company included in earlier than usual auction

Ritchie Bros. will be holding an auction earlier than usual for the first time in about 5 years. Vice President of the company Simon Wallan says this is an additional sale to the regular auctions during the year in Grande Prairie.

He says they don’t typically add auction sales unless there is a need for them. There has been a complete dispersal from an oilfield construction company in High Level and a pipeline company in Fort St John will be selling product at the auction after suspending operations earlier in the year.

There will be over 2200 lots at the auction which Wallan says is a typical auction size.

Items include skid steers, graders, dump trucks, and camp shacks.

The auction will be held March 14th and 15th .
