GP Firefighters Charitable Foundation raising money for the local Muscular Dystrophy chapter

The Grande Prairie Firefighters Charitable Foundation is asking people to “Give a Buck for Luck”. The money they are collecting goes to the local Muscular Dystrophy chapter. There are businesses around Grande Prairie that are selling shamrocks to help raise money with the campaign ending on March 17th, St Patricks Day. Restaurants and pubs are getting involved including Madhatter’s Grain’s, Mr Mike’s and Earl’s. Ramona’s, Egan McSwiggin’s. The Den, and The Shark Club are also joining in. There will also be Shamrocks sold at the Crown and Anchor, Better Than Fred’s, Bar One, and Breaker’s.

There is other businesses joining in as well like Bello Style’s, Supplement King, and Popeye’s. Some car dealerships are raising money as well like Ken Sargent GMC Buick and Sean Sargent Toyota.

The Swan City has raise the most money in the national campaign over eleven consecutive years.
