Usually by this time of year, The STARS Alberta Lottery has sold out but not in 2016. Ticket sales for the lottery are down with their March 23rd deadline coming up. The CEO and President of the lottery Andrea Robertson says the lottery funds the equivalent to one STARS base which is one third of the operating budget. She adds that STARS knows times are tough for many in the province but they are hoping for support in any way people can find the means.
The province has three STARS bases in the province including Grande Prairie.
