Fort St John Flyers disqualified from finals

A discrepancy in their roster has the Fort St John Flyers disqualified from playoffs. The team is only allowed to carry 25 players on their roster after a February 10th deadline in the NPHL was set for that player limit but the team was holding an extra one. Even though the Flyers won against the Huskies over the weekend, the disqualification has the Huskies taking the win and heading into the league final with the Spirit River Rangers.

According to another media outlet, the President says there is a 30 player limit in BC but because the NPHL is run out of Alberta, the rule is different. The organizaiton posted their apologies online to their fans, sponsors, and fans. The team will have a week off before they compete for the Coy Cup in Terrace.
