The Grande Prairie Drillers will be playing football this coming season after speculation if they would have enough players for a team. There are 24 committed players for the team so far but eventually they will need 40 active players on their roster before the season opener. They put the deadline for March 1st and with 24 players already having their fees paid, they say these type of early numbers show that 40 players should be doable.
The team’s next practice is 7pm tonight at the County Sportsplex. Anyone who may want to play can go to the practice.
