A crash on the Alaska Highway has claimed a life. Around 4:30 this morning a tractor trailer unit and a pickup truck collided just south of Taylor, B.C.
The driver of the pick up was killed while the semi driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries. RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service are investigating the crash, meaning the highway is closed in both directions with no alternate routes around the scene.
The cause has not yet been determined, along with the identity of the deceased. We will update when we get more information on the closure.
