On Monday February 15th, RCMP responded to a structure fire just East of Breakers Sports Lounge at around 3:00 am. When they arrived they found a portable construction office fully engulfed in flames. The Grande Prairie Fire Department attended and extinguished the fire.
GPFD investigated further and found that the fire was deliberately set. The investigation is ongoing.
The office was closed at the time of the incident and nobody was injured.
