Two Pouce Coupe teens help RCMP after crash

A police officer who crashed into a power pole was saved by two teens. RCMP say a Peace Region Traffic Services Officer in Pouce Coupe was following a vehicle with sirens and lights on in the police car. The officer was driving through an intersection when he lost control and hit the ditch.

Officers say he hit a power pole causing it to land on the passenger side of the vehicle. Two Pouce Coupe teens checked on the officer to make sure he was not hurt and they also attempted to put out a small fire that had started. The fire was eventually put out by the officer from the vehicle.
