A freezing rain warning is in effect for areas near Fox Creek and Whitecourt. If you are travelling through these areas, Environment Canada says surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy or slippery.
They say to take care while walking or driving and to adjust your driving to the changing road conditions. The warning is expected to last until later this morning.
