Province reaches tentative agreement with AUPE

After months of negotiations, a tentative agreement have been reached between the Alberta government and the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees.

Details of the deal, which affects around 22,000 government employees, have not yet been released to the public.

Heated negotiations have been ongoing since February, and the union has been without a contract for more than a year.
