Another Grande Prairie restaurant has been hit by an armed robber. A man with a knife held up the A&W on 100th Street around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night.
He reportedly went behind the counter and told the clerk to open the till. No one was hurt, but the man made off with some cash and left through the back door, running towards Superstore.
Police Dog Services tried to track him down in the surrounding area, but it’s believed he may have had a vehicle waiting for him. Â The suspect was wearing a green mask, a black jacket and dark pants or jeans.
Anyone with information about him or the robbery is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
