Road rage ends in assault near school in GP

RCMP are looking for a suspect after a road rage incident ended in an assault. Police say a woman realized she was being followed on Thursday, January 21st, and instead of driving to her home, she took an alternate route.

A dark grey or silver SUV passed the victim in the school zone near IV Macklin School and blocked the road. Officers say a heavy set, native woman got out of the SUV and walked towards the victim’s car, punching the woman in the face through an open window.

The suspect then left the area in the older model SUV with a red and white sticker on the back window that had faded to pink. The victim suffered a broken nose.

If you have information on this contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
