Man missing from Grande Prairie for 15 years

The search is still on for a man who’s been missing from the Grande Prairie area for more than 15 years. Then 65 year old Raymond Alec Chalifoux was reported missing on December 26th, 2000.

He was last seen near the former York Hotel in Grande Prairie on the 20th and was operating a trap line south of the city at the time. Chalifoux is described as First Nations, 5’8″, 180 pounds with grey hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a long, brown jacket, a grey fur hat and brown boots. He has a bad right leg and is known to walk with a noticeable limp.
