Man being charged in relation to a recent restaurant theft in GP

A man involved in a police chase last week is facing more charges in relation to a recent restaurant and gas station robbery as well as possession of stolen property. RCMP say 31 year old, Dale Joseph Yakimuk of Grande Prairie, is being charged in relation to a robbery that took place at the Mama Panda restaurant on Sunday January 17th.

They say Yakimuk is also being charged in relation to the Clairmont Husky robbery which happened on January 14th, 2016. Officers also report that the suspect was driving a white Toyota Venza that was reported stolen earlier in the month from a local dealership. The man has been remanded into custody and RCMP continue to investigate.
