Mobile mammography screening trailer to roll into Hythe

A mobile mammography screening trailer will be making it’s way into Hythe at the end of the month.

The screenings will be offered to individuals that are eligible aged from 45 to 74. The trailer will be located at the Hythe Legion, on August 29, 31, and September 1 and 2.

Officials say that mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early when treatment may work better, and could save lives down the road.

Screening is available at no cost for eligible individuals, but appointments are required. To book an appointment, you can call 1-800-667-0604 or to learn more about the program.
