A mobile mammography screening trailer will be making a stop in Fairview later this month.
The screenings will be offered to individuals that are eligible aged from 45 to 74. The trailer will first be parked at the Fairview Health Complex from August 19 to 22, and August 24 to 28.
Officials say that mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early when treatment may work better, and could save lives down the road.
Screenings are available at no cost for eligible individuals, but appointments are required, you can call 1-800-667-0604 to book an appointment.
