Grande Prairie Kidney Foundation to host 2nd Share A Spare event

Registration for this years Kidney Foundation’s Share A Spare fundraiser will be opening in the coming weeks.

Last year, the Grande Prairie and Region Kidney Foundation hosted their first ever Share A Spare event.

Share A Spare is a adult-only event where you can bowl with a team of friends or co-workers.

Community Engagement Manager for the local foundation, Krysta Gendreau says she expects this years event to sell out, just like last years.

“Once registration is available, I encourage those who are interested to just get on board and get the registrations done.”

“It was such a hit last year, that people are waiting to register for this year.”

During the event, there will be more than just bowling, as organizers expect to see a 50/50 raffle, and a silent auction.

Tickets will go on sale on July 20th, with the event slated to take place on September 19th at Bowling Stones.

Once tickets are available, you can find them on the Kidney Foundations website.

Organizers are also looking for sponsors as well, more information can be found on the Kidney Foundations Facebook page.

All of the proceeds raised from the event will go back to the Kidney Foundation.
