BC Hydro claims Site C Dam protesters are in the way

Site C Dam protesters have moved in cabins by helicopter according to a claim by BC Hydro. According to CKNW News Talk, the company is accusing the demonstrators of interfering with operations and deadlines. They also say in the claim that they will suffer loss, damage, and expenses from being prevented from doing work. They added the blockade may force the company to modify their plans for the nearly 9-million dollar power project.

BC Hydro is seeking to have the camp and protesters removed from the site. The defendants of the claim are Ken Boon, the President of the Peace Valley Landowner Association and Verena Hofmann with the Treaty 8 Tribal Council.

The claims against the protesters have not been proven as of yet.
