The investigation into child sexual assault charges against a Dawson Creek man has spread across Canada and the U-S. 31 year old Kevin James Belcourt was arrested last June and charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, luring via telecommunications and administering a noxious substance.
According to the Alaska Highway News, Staff Sergeant Marcel Guilbault recently gave an update to city council, saying more charges have been laid, and there are now multiple jurisdictions and agencies involved. He wouldn’t elaborate on how the States are connected in the large file.
When police searched Belcourt’s home, they found several devices that could hold digital images.
