Mobile mammography trailer making Spirit River stop next month

A mobile mammography screening trailer will be making it’s way into Spirit River next month.

The screenings will be offered to individuals that are eligible aged from 45 to 74. The trailer will be located Central Peace Health Complex, located at 5010 45 Avenue, from July 2-3 and July 6-11.

Officials say that mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early when treatment may work better, and could save lives down the road.
