Wonder Valley project open house set for Thursday

An open house is set to take place on Thursday evening regarding information about the Wonder Valley project.

The open house is being organized by the O’Leary Digital team. Organizers say they are encouraging people to attend, meet with the project team, and ask questions to learn more for the Wonder Valley project.

NDP Leader of the Opposition in Alberta, Naheed Nenshi says he hopes that the people attending ask plenty of questions about the impact that the project would have.

“I hope people really do ask questions around the environmental issues, around water in particular.”

“I hope that people ask lots of questions of the long-term economic benefit, and also if they get into it at the open house, some real questions about what the impact of this would be on the electricity grid, and what the impact would be on peoples electrical bills.”

The open house is slated to take place on Thursday, June 4 at the Grovedale Community Hall from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
