Camp Tamarack will be showcasing their brand-new boulder section on their climbing wall on Friday.
Staff say the upgraded wall will now feature low-height bouldering routes around their current climbing tower.
Executive Director with Camp Tamarack, Lynnell Ible says the upgrade reflects Camp Tamarack’s continued focus on creating activities that help young people build confidence, resilience, and independence through adventure and exploration.
“Bouldering is more than a sport; it gives young people the opportunity to challenge themselves, problem-solve, and build confidence through healthy, controlled risk.”
The new section will be unveiled during the Family Day Camp on Friday, May 23 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
During the Family Day Camp, families can also try: archery, empowerment activities with Elevation 650, Fairy Godmother Story Time with Grande Spotlight Events, camp tours and a family scavenger hunt.
Entry to get onto the grounds are by donation.
