A new draw date has been set for the Cars for Christmas Mega Lottery. The original draw on January 5th was stopped after 12 prizes, when an inconsistency in drawing procedures was found.
Based on Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission regulations, those winners will be honoured, and a second set of the top 12 prizes will be given out, along with numbers 13 through 100 and the 80 unsold scratch n’ win tickets. That draw will happen Monday, January 18th, at Centre 2000 starting at 1 p.m.
The Swan City Rotary Club has said that the additional prizes handed out with not affect its 13 local non-profit partners.
