Approximately $10,000 worth of items, police believe to be stolen, were seized from a home in Grimshaw police believe to be connected to a break and enter in the community.
According to Peace River RCMP officials, around 4:47 a.m. on Feb. 3rd, Mounties responded to a break and enter at a Grimshaw business. When police arrived to the business, it is stated officers noted shoe and toboggan prints in the snow near the scene. Officials state the prints led them to a residence that was already known to police.

Peace River RCMP obtained and executed a search warrant at the residence on Feb. 4th, during which they are said to have recovered multiple stolen items, consisting of mostly tools and vehicle parts.
As a result of the investigation, Peace River RCMP have charged two Grimshaw men for possession of property obtained by crime and break and enter.
The 20 year-old and a 25 year-old are set to appear before the Alberta Court of Justice in Peace River on Feb. 23. The 25 year-old has been remanded into custody, while the 20 year-old has since been released.
