Robbery in north end

Grande Prairie RCMP are investigating a robbery that occurred Monday evening. RCMP received information that a male had entered Barry’s Variety in the north end of the city. According to RCMP, the male was wearing a Halloween mask and demanded money from the cashier. RCMP say the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, 5 foot 9, skinny and was wearing black sports style pants with a black jacket at the time of the robbery. If you have any information on this event, contact Grande Prairie RCMP at 780-830-5701 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
