A woman who had recently moved in to a home in Grimshaw was shot Sunday morning. Police say a shot was fired at the house by a small calibre firearm around 8:30 a.m.
The woman was taken to hospital and released later in the day. An investigation with the help of the Peace River Forensic Identification Section and Police Dog Services led RCMP to turn up other criminal offences and arrest two men.
Mounties are still looking in to the attack and ask anyone with information to contact them so they can figure out what happened.
