The second man wanted for the homicide of 20 year old Ryan Ellefson last summer has been arrested. RCMP say they received a “tremendous” amount of tips from the public and Jesse Prestly Laboucan turned himself in to the High Level detachment.
The 20 year old is charged with the murder of Ellefson, who was found unconscious at a gas station in High Prairie in the early morning hours of July 29th, 2015 and later passed away in hospital. 20 year old Dakota Anderson of Gift Lake is also charged with second degree murder.
An arrest warrant was issued last week for Laboucan, who hails from the Atikameg First Nation, and it was believed he was hiding out in High Level. He’s now in police custody ahead of his court date.
