Nearly $40,000 raised from 2Dayfm’s Father Daughter Ball

2dayFM’s ninth annual Father-Daughter Ball raised nearly $40,000 for the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation.

Organizers said the $39,000 total was the result of sponsors, ticket sales and auctions. The station’s General Manager, Caralee Parr, said giving back to the community means so much to the organization as she knows the money raised goes to a fantastic cause.

“Knowing we get to give back to the community is really rewarding, knowing we get to give back on a larger scale with something that is going to stand through time, it’s kind of a legacy from 2dayfm.”

Parr has worked at the station for roughly seven years and has attended many of these fundraising events in person.

“We’ve got to watch some of these girls grow up alongside their dads, and because they do end up aging out for the event over time, we get to see new families and business sponsors coming in.”

2026 will mark the 10th anniversary of the Father-Daughter Ball, and Parr hints the station plans for the event to be bigger than ever before.
