West Grande Prairie Regional Transfer Station reopened after upgrades

The West Grande Prairie Regional Transfer Station is now open for the first time since August 8th.

The station now has been redesigned, that will improve access for residents, an increased number of bins, and a safer site.

When the project started, the plan was to have the station back open on September 20th. Construction then faced delays to ensure for proper concrete curing.

The station will run from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., the County says they would like to thank the residents for their patience and cooperation during the closure.
