A Grande Prairie man is facing charges after police allegedly seized a shotgun and a sizeable amount of drugs from a pair of homes in the city.
Authorities say they kicked off the drug trafficking investigation in September, with information leading them to executing two search warrants on October 29th. As a result of the searches, police say they seized 1.7 kilograms of cocaine, 1.5 kg of meth, 24 grams of Fentanyl, a prohibited weapon and more than $50,000.
The accused is now facing three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of proceeds of crime over $5000, however, authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
