Aquatera now collecting Christmas trees

Now that the holiday season is officially over, Grande Prairie residents will be looking to toss their Christmas trees. Aquatera will start collecting live trees this week, running today through the 22nd.

Simply leave yours on the curb the same day as your garbage pick up, one metre from your garbage cart with all decorations removed. Anything longer than eight feet should be cut in half.

You can also drop your tree off for free at the Aquatera Landfill.
