The city will be rolling out education sessions about transit

The City of Grande Prairie has announced that they will be hosting transit learning sessions on October 9th.

The sessions will allow residents in the community to learn about the essential’s of taking city transit, how to better understand the routes displayed on a map, how to better plan trips and how to purchase fairs.

Grande Prairie Mayor Jackie Clayton says these sessions will better inform the community about everything transit.

“The City of Grande Prairie works to ensure transit is welcoming and accessible for everyone. These sessions are about giving people the confidence to ride the bus and discover more of what our community has to offer.”

The sessions will be targeted to people that are newer to the community, or anyone who want to learn more about the system.

To register or learn more about the website, you can head to the city’s website. The learning sessions will be spilt up into two, with one session running from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. And another running from 6-7pm at the Ernie Radbourne Pavilion.
