Nominations are now open for the 2025 Volunteer awards to help honour those who give back to the community in a big way.
The City of Grande Prairie says the George Repka Outstanding Achievement Award Recognizes individuals who have made a major contribution in recreation, culture, or social services to the community with at least 20+ years of volunteer history.
While Bill Bowes Volunteer Organization of the Year Award honours volunteer organizations or foundations in Grande Prairie that have provided outstanding contributions to the community through service, voluntary initiatives, fundraising, and exemplary community development.
The nomination deadline falls on October 17th and winners will be announced later this fall.
