The City of Grande Prairie is taking applications for several different scholarships until the end of the month. Some of the grants available include the, Bob Nuefeld scholarship, come fly with me fund, and the Perky McCullough International Excellence Scholarship,
With each of these awards being worth over $1,000 each, and geared toward local athletes.
The city is also offering grants for community improvements as well, with grants valued up to $2,500.
Grande Prairie Mayor Jackie Clayton, says these programs will help the future of talent in the city.
“Through the Community Improvement and Pursuit of Excellence programs, we can provide residents with the tools to enhance our city, support local talent, and inspire future generations.”

The deadline to apply for all programs is October 1st, 2025.
