Storm, Downtown Association team up to light up city centre

The Grande Prairie DownTown Association and the Grande Prairie Storm announce a new partnership to light up the “CityCentre” sign during home games.

The sign will light up blue, yellow and grey representing the Storm’s team colors for every home game of the 2025-26 season.

Executive director of the team Nicole Menzies, talked about how excited both her and the team are to have this change.

“We are very excited to partner with the Downtown Association to have the City Centre sign lit up in Storm colours for each of our home games this season.”

Menzies also noted about how appreciated the team is to be playing in such a great location.

“We are very grateful to get to call Bonnetts Energy Centre our home rink, and that its a location that allows our fans access to incredible dining, shopping, and nightlife before and after the games. We look forward to continuing to be good friends and neighbours to the many businesses downtown and appreciate the support from the community.”
