Traffic signal switchover work on 100 Street, 97 Avenue wrapping up Tuesday evening

Crews will be finishing up traffic signal switchover work at the intersection of 97 Avenue and 100 Street on Tuesday, and that means the lights will be non-operational for a stretch on Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning.

The city says work begins at 8 p.m. and is expected to wrap up, weather permitting, by by 1 a.m., Wednesday. During the work, the intersection will function as a four-way stop with signage in place to guide drivers. Anyone living nearby may hear some louder than usual noise from the area as the switchover takes place.

Drivers are urged to proceed with caution and follow all posted signage in the area.
