Grande Prairie, Hythe companies up for Alberta Business Awards

Five local companies are being recognized for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the community. The finalists for the 2016 Alberta Business Awards of Disttinction have been announced, with four Grande Prairie businesses in the running, along with Western Manufacturing out of Hythe. They’re nominated for the Aboriginal Relations – Best Practice Award.
 
Out of the Swan City, Saltmedia is up for the Eagle Feather Award, given out to a First Nation, Metis or Inuit owned business, while the Grande Prairie Golf and Country Club is in the running for the Employer of Persons with Disabilities Award. Revolution Auto Group could be going home with a Marketing Award, while Enviro Home is up for the Small Business Award.
 
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in February.
