Clerk chases man with knife out of convenience store

Grande Prairie RCMP are looking for a man who threatened a clerk at the Eastside Convenience Store with a knife.
The incident happened Friday at 11:20 a.m. after the suspect was asked for ID before a lottery ticket could be validated. Another staff member managed to chase them out of the store with a baseball bat.
Officers with police dogs tried to find the man, who’s described as Caucasian, 5’4″ and roughly 30 years old, but couldn’t. He had a slim build and brown hair shaved into the shape of a “V” in the back. He was wearing a dark hoodie, baggy grey jogging pants and a black Obey brand baseball cap with a bright green patch.
Anyone with info is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
