2day FM Cares for Kids Radiothon raising money for Vital Monitoring Systems

The second annual 2day FM Cares for Kids Radiothon is being held tomorrow in Grande Prairie. 2day FM is hoping to raise more than $16,000 dollars for the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation in order to purchase five new Vital Monitoring Systems.

Each system is worth $3,300, and helps keep track of patients’ vital signs both before and after surgery. Currently the hospital only has two of these units in rotation.

Anyone who would like to make a donation to the Cares for Kids Radiothon can do so by visiting the 2day FM team tomorrow from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Eastlink Centre Fieldhouse, calling 780-538-7583, or through the 2day FM mobile app. Donations of more than $25 will come with a tax receipt.
