RCMP are looking for a suspect in two armed robberies last night in Grande Prairie and Sexsmith. The East Side Liquor Store was targeted around 9:20 p.m. by a man with a knife.
Just half an hour later, a man pulled a knife on an employee at the Sexsmith Liquor Store. In both cases no one was hurt, but the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The man is described as 6’4″, slender, wearing a black Metal Mulisha hoodie, navy work pants with a yellow reflective stripe below the knee and brown boots, along with large aviator style sunglasses with reflective lenses.
Police say they’re looking into all leads on these thefts and invite any info from the public.
