RCMP are investigating another attempted armed robbery that took place on Monday in the Grande Prairie area.
Police say around 5:30 am on December 7 a man entered the Mac’s convenience store in Beaverlodge with a knife. He reportedly demanded cash from the clerk but when the employee picked up a cleaning tool to defend himself the suspect left the store empty handed. The employee was unharmed.
The suspect is described as about 6′ tall with a slender build and was wearing blue coveralls, a black balaclava, sunglasses, and gloves. RCMP in Beaverlodge are investigating the incident and are asking anyone with information on the suspect to contact their detachment or Crime Stoppers.
