A local teenager has been charged with luring a minor over the internet. Police first heard about 18 year old Laszlo Illes when a father discovered an older man texting his 13 year old daughter in November.
Illes was charged with three counts of Adult Luring Minors over the Internet for a Sexual Purpose on December 4th. He has a court date set for January 6th.
In the meantime, the police investigation continues to figure out if there were any other victims. Mounties encourage parents to watch their children’s cell phone and internet activity and to educate their children on the dangers of talking to strangers online.
Anything suspicious should be documented and reported to police immediately.
