Nothing was stolen after a man tried to rob a convenience store in Lakeland early this morning.
RCMP say around 5 am a man entered the Lakeland Mac’s store armed with bear or pepper spray and demanded that the clerk give him money. The clerk was able to lock them self in an office and the man left the store empty handed.
The suspect is described as Caucasian and about 5’8″ with a thin build. He was reportedly wearing a mask with white markings on it, blue jeans, white sneakers, a white belt, and a black hoodie.
Anyone who may recognize the man in the surveillance image is asked to contact local RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
