GP Storm sign local product Max Fogle for 2025/26 season

The Grande Prairie Storm has formally announced the signing of local forward Max Fogle for the 2025/2026 season.

The 2007-born Grande Prairie product currently plays for the U18 Grande Peace Storm in the AEHL. In just 26 games this season, Fogle has buried 12 goals and managed to pick up 24 assists. He had a brief taste of the AJHL earlier this season as a call-up, playing six games, scoring once, and grabbing an assist.

Storm GM Mark Bomersback says the organization had its eyes on the young skater for years and is proud to finally welcome him to the Storm.

“Max has been a player in our backyard for a number of years now, we have watched him continually get better and grow as a player and person,” he says. “He has gone through the process of spring camps and main camps year after year the last few seasons and we are very happy to officially welcome him on board starting next season.”

Fogle is described as a “very reliable” two-way player whose consistency allows coaches to know exactly what they will be getting every night. Bomersback adds that his skill in creating offensive opportunities, along with his ability to be in the right place at the right time in defensive situations makes him a welcome addition to the roster.

“He works hard and competes, and most importantly he’s a great individual.”

The Storm are currently sitting in second place in the AJHL North Division, and with no signs of slowing down, officials say the boys will continue working hard over their remaining 19 games to secure a favourable spot in the upcoming AJHL Playoffs.
